Only
men were anointed by God to serve as Kings of Israel and Judah.
PASTORS ARE NOT KINGS!!
I’m not sure exactly what the point of including this fact is, since I
hope everyone knows there is no connection between being a pastor, elder, or
deacon and a king, unless it is to show that God appoints men to leadership
positions. And that the most important
leadership position created in the governing of His people was filled by men.
However for this to be a viable argument to prove that only men can be leaders
in the church or in their homes, there should be no women chosen by God for
leadership positions anywhere in the bible.
And while I admit that these instances are few and sometimes far
between, God did choose women to be leaders.
